To manage the Programme Management Office (PMO) to ensure effective delivery of all IT projects (both internal and external through service providers) across Al Tayer Group (ATG) in line with business objectives, project timeframes and budgets, and quality standards. 

Operating Model & Governance

  • Provide inputs and implement departmental policies, systems and procedures across assigned units across ATG so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled in alignment with the operating model.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to IT programme management in order to facilitate flow of information, alignment and build awareness.

Change Management & Sustainability

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices taking into account global best standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

 

 

Programme Management Framework

  • Develop and implement a governance framework for the programme management office to ensure consistency of IT project management (both internal and external through service providers) across ATG.
  • Develop and implement IT project management methodologies, templates, processes and tools, and monitor compliance to ensure consistent IT project management across ATG.
  • Lead, coordinate and monitor the portfolio & demand management, change management and resource utilisation at the highest level of all projects and resources of the IT function.

Master Plan

  • Manage the consolidation of a master plan for all ATG’s IT projects, including project plans, estimated resources, timelines, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Manage the interdependencies between IT projects, highlight the impact of any delays, and ensure contingency plans are in place.

Risk Management

  • Lead the identification and management of IT project risk factors and mitigation plans with clear actions, roles and responsibilities.  

Performance Management

  • Maintain close coordination with the Head of Project Delivery to track the performance of all ATG IT projects regularly against targets set in the master plan, and report identified variances with recommended resolution steps.
  • Review project management reports for all ATG IT projects to assess progress against the master plan, and identify any areas of concern to be addressed and followed-up.

Quality Assurance

  • Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to review project plans and delivery of contracted IT services to ensure alignment with ATG’s quality standards, and address any identified areas of non-compliance.

External IT Service Providers

  • Support in evaluating and recommending the services of external service providers to support ATG in sourcing and appointing appropriate IT project management and services.

Reporting

  • Develop all related reports and statements in a comprehensive, accurate and timely manner, and meet business and functional requirements and standards.

Education & Years of Excperience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, or a related specialisation.
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in IT programme and/or project management.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English language; Arabic language is an advantage.
